To maximize the leadership capability of Francis Tuttle students who have already demonstrated exemplary leadership skills in their classroom,
student organizations, and communities.

How Students are chosen for SLA
- Instructors identify and recognize potential leaders and provide those students with applications.
- Completed applications will be reviewed by the SLA Selection committee.
- All applicants will be interviewed.
- Selection will be based upon application and interview.
- Approximately 35 students will be chosen to participate in SLA Class VIII.
